Yeah but PS3 gets FFXIII plus 2 exclusive FF games, so PS3 is still the best choice for FF fans.

I was just using it as an example. There have been other promises that also failed to deliver. The promise that the PS3 will be on the market 8 years from now is crap. For all we know Sony pulls out of gaming due to massive losses and calls this generation the last one. The future is too unpredictable and you are best off buying so you can enjoy it now. If you can't justify your purchase now, then why not wait until you can justify the purchase. Along the way the price might drop, or you may realize you never wanted it in the first place.




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

I'm not planning on deciding for a while WheelStriker but I'm still leaning towards the PS3.. I'm not a FF fan, not a Gears or Halo fan.. My list of titles that have me interested off the top of my head are:

PS3:

Uncharted
Uncharted 2
MGS4
GT5 - from what I've seen the gameplay doesn't look as fun as F3
Killzone 2 - heard this one has control issues, have they patched that?

XBOX 360:

L4D
L4D2 was banned in Australia so I can't play that...
F3
Alan Wake
Shadow Complex - I should add that I'll be able to get a comparable and most likely better experience with Metroid: Other M next year..
Fable 2 - Although I've never tried it but it looks ok

Then MW2, NFS: Shift, AC2, RE5 etc on both consoles..

it depends on ALOT of things, what your friends have, what you prefer, which genres you like I dont think the controller matters at all.. PS360 controller is basically just as good once you get used to it

Uncharted 2 alone warrants the purchase of a PS3. Also, don't forget The Last Guardian (from team ICO).

Unless you really love Halo or Gears of War (yech! and double yech!), PS3 seems like your system. Also don't worry about Natal just yet. It''s Nat-al it's cracked up to be.
