Forums - General - School kids taught to praise Obama

No words for a US where this happens...

Boo hoo... If the election went the other way the kids could be singing a rap about sarah palins fuck-me boots.
Why does everything to do with Obama make Republican voters so mad? Its just politics, deal with it, nobody gives a damn about you personally, and any politician would sell you and your family for an extra point on the opinion polls.

This one is scarier

They are both creepy as hell.

But one takes place at a private religious camp.

And one takes place in a public school...

Here's a video from my band's last show Check out more (bigger) videos here http://www.youtube.com/user/icemanout

So is praising Obama part of the national curriculum?

Right between English and Maths?

No it's not part of the national curriculum?

So what the hell is this mountain out of a molehill about then?

That almost made me puke.

But at the same time Im kinda fascinated by idolatry and cult leaders lol.

I don't think teachers or kids would ever be bothered singing a song about Kevin Rudd (Australian PM) here in Australia, But I also doubt anyone would care if they did lol.
People would probably just make fun of it..

4 years from now, If Obama is no longer in office, we can all look forward to threads and constant video postings of the next Republican president having teleprompters stop working, mispronouncing words, and not fulfilling all the promises they only made to get elected!

Then people like RealMafoo will be on here saying that they never said a bad word about Obama etc etc.. and the cycle continues.

The problem I have is that the political grandstanding among the general public in the US seems to be getting worse.. There will probably be a civil war or something at some point, jebus knows there is enough guns lying around over there to arm everyone when the shit hits the fan...

Politics REALLY isnt that concerning, because nothing will change too much for better or worse..

Meh. Primary schools in the US have been teaching kids to worship the president for decades.

Yeah, and they're praying for him. I know churches who also pray for Obama.

Everyone makes fun of the current Australian pm (no matter who he is).

Both of those videos are scary.

I hope stuff like that isn't wide spread...
