4000 ms points huh... simple... buy one of the best side scrolling beat em ups of all time...... Streets of rage 2 (400 points) with the other 3600 i reccomend.... ultimate mortal kombat 3 (800) soul calibur (800) ikaruga (800), rez (800) and doom (400)

KylieDog, I was playing MGS Portable Ops at work yesterday, and I swear, I thought of your post. I couldn't remember who made it, but I thought of the content. Great 1st post, dude!

Lol my first post said nothing at all!  Cause I thought you had to press post at the very bottom of the thread (under quick reply) to type stuff and then you could post it (don't know what I was thinking lol)

But my first post with words was dealing with how many MS points I've spent total.

It is an incredibly good game, but there was nothing UNIQUE about it.
The way I see it, it is a very good FPS with disappointing graphics (MGS4 spoils you) and great action, but nothing to really distinguish it from the pack other than the fct that everything works so well.

No destructible environments, no ripping turrets out of the ground, no blasting your opponent into a thousand pieces with a rocket launcher. (Bad Company, Halo 3 and UT3)

The multiplayer is incredible, but not very new player-friendly, like Halo with its automatching.

Also the singleplayer campaign is FAR too short with no real replay value.

In my opinion, it's an 8.5. But that's just me- prefer a good action adventure to an FPS any day...

What a retarded post.

In fact, I'm ashamed of pretty much my entire first page of posts. It's full of stupidity and Wii-bashing. I got owned by noname2200 before I even knew who he was, fell for a Squilliam thread, claimed an awesome FPS was overrated, made a thread saying Killzone 2 shouldn't have any hype, and said that this generation was failing because it hadn't reached the sales of last gen yet.

I also said that Mega Man 9 sucked, but I still stand by that opinion.

Basically, if I saw myself posting back then, I would have hated me.

I rated the shooter above me which was Killzone 1 (which I hadn't even played)
and named another shooter.

I'm not that old here, but my first post was to vote for the VGChartz best games of all time! My vote was:

Ocarina of Time
Perfect Dark
Resident Evil 4
Super Mario Galaxy
Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn

Not sure if I'd stand by all of those, but they're certainly up there for me.
