Forza Motorsport 3 vs Gran Turismo 5 Prologue comparison
super smooth Prologue wins

With the Forza 3 demo out today, we thought it would be interesting to see how it compared to the most recent HD offering from the Gran Turismo franchise, GT5: Prologue.
In order to make the test as fair as possible, we’ve used two cars which feature in both Prologue and the Forza 3 demo, the Mitsubishi Evo X and the Audi R8. And yes, we know Forza 3 has a slightly different version of the R8 to Prologue – they’re still similar enough.
And the results speak for themselves. Forza 3 clearly manages to pack in much more trackside detail than Prologue can; but Prologue is much more polished, and hence, more pleasing to the eye.
The colours are much more subtle, and the shading and lighting gives Prologue’s cars a smoother and more realistic appearance. Even the driver modelling and animation is better in Prologue – even though this doesn’t quite come through in the shots.
What’s also clear when seeing both in motion is how much smoother Prologue is. Everything is Forza 3 is much more jagged than Prologue, to the point where some shimmering can be noticed in the 360 game.
Obviously, Forza 3 makes up for this somewhat by packing in much more detail. But then, Polyphony’s had two years to tinker with its game engine – so don’t be surprised if GT5’s courses are crammed with trackside detail when it’s released.
Ok BOTh Games LOOK marvelous, GRFX aren't the only thing, but looking at the screenshots I MUST say GT5:P looks better.
However Forza 3 also looks amazing, so it hardly matters really
Keep the discussiion civil everyone!
