Forums - Nintendo - New Rage of the Gladiator trailer. WM+ support added.

Before anybody gets too excited, combat moves are still pre-determined. WM+ is used to improve gesture recognition, not to provide 1:1 control. I still expect it to be a lot of fun. :)

GoNintendo has a pretty good interview with Ghostfire, too:

Compared to what was shown of AD back in June, I've gotta agree.

I think it's curious that we haven't seen anything of Gladiator AD in three months though. HVS normally talk up their projects all over the place. Hopefully they're looking at the feedback they got and working on smoothing out AD's clumsy gameplay before they trot it out again.

This game looks fun. Does it look more fu than A.D.? Well, too earl to tell. Remember A.D. is still very early in development, I believe even The Grinder is being more focused on right now. But as far as this game goes, yeah thats cool that it uses WM+ and all.

NINTENDO

nintendo forever . . .

This is a Wiiware title right? If so I'll certainly be picking it up.

Oh yeah, digital distro. Burn those Wii points.

I just tallied up my VC/WiiWare spending and it looks like I've dropped over 35,000 points. I think I'll be over 45,000 by the end of the year. :X

Not exactly my cup of tea.

Although, it does seem to have some effort behind it. So I think it could sell well.

Hey Guys --

Scott here. I'm one of the developers for Rage of the Gladiator.

Happy to see all the support the game is getting. We are very excited to be bringing a game of this quality to the WiiWare platform, and also happy to include Wii M+ support. We listened to your feedback, and presto -- Wii MotionPlus.
