Forums - Microsoft - Xbox 360's 2009 Holiday Bundle Revealed

For the second year in a row, it seems that Microsoft is making yet another big push in the way of hardware bundles for the holidays. Fresh off the heals of the announcements of both Modern Warfare 2 and Halo bundles, it seems there’s still one more “value package” on the way. According to a “very reliable” Xbox inside source from Ars Technica,  the same one who broke the news of the same type of holiday bundle a year ago (the Kung Fu Panda, Lego Indiana Jones value package), is saying this year’s family friendly bundle will include Lego: Batman and Pure. Obviously, now that the PRO model has been retired in favor of the Elite, the biggest difference between all of these (besides the 250bg HDD of the MW2 bundle) is the price, just like a year ago I think it’s safe to say this one will retail for the same price as the current standalone 360 Elite ($299). It also helps explain as to why the elite suddenly has a $50 dollar price cut (rebate)! Either way seems like a sweet deal, if your not into Modern Warfare or the Halo series this is bundle for you!

You can now consider this bundle Confirmed! Check out the shot below!

PURE is an awesome game. I played the demo and bought the full game later. It is REALLY fun. Great that a bigger audience will get it now.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

360 Holiday Bundle Revealed?
Sep 23, 2009 @ 10:26am

Tipsters to Joystiq have sent in what is believed to be images of the box art for Microsoft’s rumored Xbox 360 Elite Holiday 2009 Bundle, which as seen above, will include the console, LEGO Batman, and the off-road racer Pure. No other details were given in the report. Of course, Microsoft hasn’t officially announced this bundle as of yet, but considering this week’s $50 rebate announcement and the steady stream of marketing moves by both Microsoft and Sony, this bundle wouldn’t come as a big surprise.

We’ll keep you posted on any new details as they emerge.

heres the actual box

not the best of games, but if you get them for free, no harm done.

I think the last bundle with X360 Elite + Halo 3 + Halo ODST + accessibility to the beta of HALO Reach is a total steal, for 279 €.
