@jjseth yea I was actually talking with my parents about that certain Nobel Peace Prize winner and when he was gonna jump on in last weekend. I would vote for that guy.

He may has said that he denies it, but he words it very very carefully. He said
"I don't have plans to be a candidate again,". That's a far cry from denying it with the carefully chosen words used there. Having no plans and "I am not going to run" are two different things.

Colbert is a good guy and you should vote for him if you live in SC. Otherwise, vote for Ron Paul :) Colbert had Ron Paul on his show, said he agrees with Ron Paul on freedom (not in so many words), and is also a Christian.

He has a better mindset as well as better understanding of the the people who make up America than most presidents before this election, but I don't know if it is Colbert the person or Colbert the tv personality running for the election. It could all be a publicity stunt. I would love to see him with nascar style advertising on his suit during campaigns and debates. lol.

Shrug, there was a Hungarian (I think? Poor memory) comedian who jokingly tossed his hat in to become a MP, and won. It's not unheard of for a comedian to take a political position. Now, this one... well, a bit harder.

What would make me more curious is someone without a political career entering the presidency, leaving after the term, and writing a book with all the information, whether boring or damning, that one encounters as President. Either toss the conspiracy theorists a bone or slap em I say!

I Remember when Hulk Hogan declared his intent to run for president for publicity. I was hoping the WCW (If i recall it was his "Holywood days" would have him go the whole way with primaries and everything... mostly because I was convinced he would win... and hopefully that would get people to change their views on politics.
