Shrug, there was a Hungarian (I think? Poor memory) comedian who jokingly tossed his hat in to become a MP, and won. It's not unheard of for a comedian to take a political position. Now, this one... well, a bit harder.
What would make me more curious is someone without a political career entering the presidency, leaving after the term, and writing a book with all the information, whether boring or damning, that one encounters as President. Either toss the conspiracy theorists a bone or slap em I say!
