Anyways it was time for Nintendo to do so, since interest has been going down at a steady rate for a long time now.

We are disapointed because this is the one thing Nintendo shouldn't have done.

Insterest is waining because there is no new software. There will be. Heck, in the US, August saw an increase over July thanks to Wii Sports Resort. This is way to early. In early 2010, it would have made sence. Not now. And not so close after Sony's.

If you were being ironic or sarcastic, then okay.

If not, you're too late. The Wii could still coast to something like 70 million systems in its lifetime if its sales don't pick up. That would still make it Nintendo's most successful console.

Sometime you guys act you are part of an elite classy club and you don't want anyone else to join it. Guess what there are over 50 millions Wii out there, you are not that special............

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

I can't tell if you're being serious. If you are being serious... We already knew it was coming, this leak merely provided a nailed-down date for the price drop announcement. Though considering there was people as of a few days ago who still thought this was a hoax perpetrated by Kotaku, it's good that we no longer have to hear the ramblings of the people mindlessly denying the price drop.
