Somehow I doubt the Wii will ever see DC games. I say this for two reasons.

First, Sega has treated the console groups differently this time. For example, Sonic's Genesis collection was not done for the Wii but was on the PS3 and Xbox 360. So it can do something for the HD consoles and something different for the Wii.

Secondly, and more to the point, I am not sure the Wii can handle the DC games. And by this, I mean the transfer and storage of the large-sized file required for the game.

I hope this is true. I'm a big SEGA fan, and i loved the Dreamcast, and still own mine, and play every now and then for a little nostalgia. This would be a VERY welcome addition to my PS3. Bring it.

On the subject on the PS2 emulator, I was thinking to myself a couple weeks ago about:

PSX has titles on PSN
PS3 has titles on PSN

So, shouldn't PS2 also have titles on PSN? I kinda figured an emulator was going to happen. You can say Sony lied about it, but, maybe they were secretly specifically meaning the E.E. chip, and, they didn't want to kill PS2 sales by saying there'd be a PS2 emulator. That's practically a free PS2 built into the PS3. I won't be surprised if it's something to pay for in the PSN. It may even cost 50 bucks.

But, as for dreamcast titles, coming to PS3? Way too awesome. I've always liked SEGA, well, when they made consoles, at least. So, SEGA and Sony teaming up for Dreamcast = AWESOME! It would be nice if PS3 got each and every single one of the 300, or so Dreamcast games ever made.

I honestly don't care about the Wand controller.

But, wait a second, don't stop there!! Get genesis titles for PS3 also, at 2 bucks a rom! I'd buy my entire genesis collection over again and then some!

And you know what else?  I wanna put my disc based dreamcast games IN my PS3.. that would be so awesome..  Then my friends can stop bugging me about not wanting to set up the PS2 and dreamcast on the HD.  The PS3 would do it all!!  This is great, the PS3 handling all my disc based games, even the ones not on a sony console (forget 360, I don't play it anymore).  But, this would be great... Might be kinda bad for my dreamcast usage, though.

I hope it supports abc xyz and L, R buttons... C, and Z can be L1, R1, and L, R can be L2, R2.  Not that I ever had a 6 face button DC controller...

well, lets hope sony put ALL PS2 games on PSN and not trickel out a few every year, there are like 10,000 ps2 games in total aint there? so should launch with about 3-5000 games (wont happen)

cant wait for the motion controller though, should bring alot of new and exciting party games and hopefully hardcore one's to ps3! il defo be one of those 5million sold

according to this site there are roughly 3k games for the ps2. i doubt they would try to add them all. most likely just the bigger names and a handful of the overlooked gems.
