I'll be honest and say that the mafia games we have going here are one of the biggest reasons I still post a lot. A lot of the gaming related threads are the same old thing "What games should I buy for _____" or "My -console- broke!" or "PS3 is teh 1337" or "360 pwns PS3" or... Well, you get the idea. Other than that, it's the news (I like to know about upcoming games that I want) and occasionally the sales. They haven't been interesting until recently so I'll probably be following them more closely during the holidays.

EDIT: Basically, I do like the old site, but I don't mind the new one either. I like the design and all the new features. It seems to me that the forum is the only place that has really suffered, and that hasn't been enough to keep me from enjoying the site.

I've grown to like 2.0, and I don't miss the old layout at all.

Snake, you really don't have to make hit threads to be famous on this website. Trust me, contributing in other peoples threads will gain you more love and respect. You seem to dwell on the past were you once use to make some hit threads but you let it get to your head. Stop living in the past bro and adapt! We won't bite and you'll see things differently when you stop trying to be the center of attention.

I was actually pretty displeased when the 2.0 went up. But now the only thing that bothers me is the color used for sony. I can't read anything written in that red color- i end up highlighting it just to get a better idea.

Yeah, I despise the orange background, and navigation is much more complicated. I understand that it's meant to look more professional this way, but do we have to sacrifice functionality for style?

This is better than the original design, but not nearly as good as the first revision (when everything was blue and white and VGC had a different logo).

Edit: And you're right, after losing so many great (albeit controversial/loony) posters, the forums haven't been nearly as fun to visit. We need a little bit of crazziness.

Why? I mean the guy was just a spammer, he made like 2,000 posts in a week once, put his profile on auto-refresh and gave himself 500,000 hits slowing down the site and hacked into ArtofAngels and a few others e-mail accounts.
