This is an unbelievably offbalanced point of view.  The Wii has trouble with quality software? The Wii has 3 9.0+ game.  The PS3 has 1, and it's been out on the 360 for months before it was even released on the PS3.  The Last PS3 game released that scored an 8+ is Heavenly Sword and it's the low end. You want to talk about software diversity problems?  How about some statistics:

Of the PS3's 27 7.5+ rated games, 7 are exclusive.  The PS3 still has yet to recieve an exclusive 9.0+ game, and only 1 non-exclusive one.  As for diversity of game library: of the PS3's 27 games 11 are sports, 7 shooters, 4 racers, 3 action, 1 RPG, 1 adventure

Of the Wii's 15 7.5+ rated games, 11 are exclusive.  The Wii has 1 exclusive 9.0+ game and 3 9.0+ games total. The diversity of it's library is as follows: 4 sports, 2 adventure, 2 minigame, 2 action, 1 simulation, 1 shooter, 1 RPG/platformer, 1 puzzle, and 1 racer.  

What's this mean?  It means the PS3 lacks exclusive good games.  Meaning if you want to play the PS3's games, the 360 is by far the better option because it's cheaper and has it's own robust library of exclusive games.  If you want to play the Wii's good games, you need a Wii.  If you want to play the most genres on one system, the Wii covers more genres than the PS3.  

So, I repeat, if the PS3 doesn't have problems with software, the Wii never did.  As far as the PS3 having lots of big games left this year and Mario Galaxy not being that big, go ahead and pick 5 PS3 games from now to December 31st on the PS3, and I will bet you Super Mario Galaxy outsells every single one of them combined lifetime worldwide.

So what your saying is, is that nintendomination is at an end... SO when MS and SONY make PRICE CUTS and release KILLER AAA APPS, and they STILL lose to the Wii, that nintendomination has ended... you watch what happens on November 13th in the US (I think this is the week where SMG, RE:UC and loads of others are all being released in North America), what do you think will happen then !? hmmm....

Every day that Nintendo can lead without price drops is a victory for the business.

Wii Fit will turn people fit as much as Brain training did train their brains .Thats it ,not at all .

Nintendo will release their Mario games (Olympics ,Galaxy ,Kart and Brawl ) and have their big holiday success .Then for 2008 they dont have nothing at all .

I dont know if the Wii is a fad or not ,but whats clear is that its not a very good video game console .

As for PS3 it has some solid games this fall as Ratchet and Clank ,Unreal 3 ,Haze ,Assasins Creed ,Uncharted ,Pro Evolution Soccer ,Singstar ,Orange Box ,Gran Turismo Prologue,Stranglehold ,Oblivion GOTY ,NBA 2K ,NHL ,NHL2K .. etc ...plus a already solid lineup that Wii doesnt have .Ps3 ,no matter how this hurts some people feelings ,will gain ground with the time and not the reverse .Wii we will have to see ,maybe it will turn into a niche system for phisic exercise and gun games but it is just to weak hardware wise to turn into the next standar.I would bet with anyone that the developers wont throw by the window all their expensive technology and development teams and tools just to turn them to develop some Wii minigames .

I bet my copy of Zelda : Phantom Hourglass (the most precious thing I can think of now) that WiiFit will move A LOT of Wiis and become one od the most successful games on Wii.

You don't know what's in store for 2008. People said in 2006, that the PS3 had the best lineup and there was no way anyone was going to compete with the PS3 during the 2007 holidays.

It's simply too far to predict what will happen in a year's time. Games get delayed, new ones are announced, others switch to multi-platform or even jump ship to another console entirely.

I don't know if Brain Training actually trains your brain or not, but it looks like you could use some brain training regardless. 

The Wii has nothing for 08?  The sequels to the 2 best selling GC games (Brawl and Kart) are both in 08...

People, for the last time:  Listing 4 games on a system you don't own then all the games you can think of on the system you do own makes you look like an idiot.  That sounds harsh, but it's true and it's for your benefit to stop doing it.  I'm trying to help you Diomedes, but as long as you (or leo-j, or Soriku, or anyone else who makes those lists) does that it will only make YOU look ignorant.

Personally I believe that wii fit will sell rediculously well, my mother and some of her friends are considering buying wiis over wii-fit, I'm sure loads of middle age mothers would love to have an anerobic exercise tool that their children would use as well,
for all you know schools could start buying wii fit to help combat childhood obesity
heh, the ps3 might calculate protien folds, but if the wii bucks the sedintary life style trend even a little it'll do more against cancer than the ps3 ever could
