Out of complete boredum and a willingness to share, I'd like to introduce SmokedHostage's Music of the Day thread. Every day @ around 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Eastern time, I will be posting a video followed by comments on how it has served me a game. Feel free to comment yourself and possibly make requests, though I will may not accept them.

Rainbow Road - Super Mario Kart
Rainbow Road has always left my mind with epic, yet brutal tracks. It's nice to pay homage to the one that started it all.
Music of the Day for September 24th 2009.
Masked Dedede - Kirby Super Star Ultra
Gotta love KSSU's Revenge of the King. There may be Marx's and Zero Two's out there but a more badass King Dedede is very satisfying to defeat. Too bad that instead of half of Popstar and even 2x the Mario Crew isn't watching. That one Waddle Dee was quite loyal though.
Music of the Day for September 23rd 2009.
Grandmaster Duel - Pokemon Trading Card Game
This game was four hours of epic and this theme doesn't track far from that.
Music of the Day for September 22nd 2009.
Light World Dungeon - The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Wow.. I spent hours upon hours puzzle solving, enemy slaying and item collecting with this theme. Too bad, it feels more omnious than the Dark World Dungeon theme.
Music of the Day for September 21th 2009.
Blessing of the 8 Generals II - Fire Emblem
Athos! Such a brave man. It's a shame that when he faced three dragons, this was the only time this masterpiece was played. It's fit that it's short too.
Music of the Day for September 20th 2009.
Factory Fear - Donkey Kong Country
More than anything, I remember the amount of burning barrels in this level. Donkey Kong Country always stuck in my head for the liberal use of floating barrels and being shot out of them. I'd can only imagine how uncomfortable it would be to have been shot out of one of those black cans of inferno.
Pixel Art can be fun.
