Forums - General - Brezinski Calls for Obama to Shoot Down Israeli Jets

Israel is only interested in what Israel wants. They have never been a great Allie to anyone and have caused their surrounding neighbours a lot of problems. As well as the minorities within Israel are among the most oppressed in the world. Any Alliance with the rest of the West is based only on what they can take.

I am actually surprised that 55% of Liberals in the US are that stupid.

Israel needs to keep their hands in their own pockets and become an upstanding peaceful nation who helps their minorities and neighbours before they deserve any respect. Even Germany and Japan are far far better nations now and we were at war with them, and they ran slave death camps, only decades ago.

That's a laugh.

Anyway, Israel is a nation that needs to throw their evil warmongering cult-like leaders out, and get a much more helpful and co-operative government. Otherwise they'll remain the greatest disease of the civilized world. There is a big chance to fix the issues of the Middle East, right now almost all of them stem from Israel and other US/British installed dictators. Millions upon millions have perished as a result. It can be fixed.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

I suspect that if Israel does put planes in the air, they will already have USA's green light, so this is a moot point IMO.

Israel didn't ask for our persmission when they attacked the USS Liberty and killed 34 Americans.

I wonder how many Jews in the USA are voting democrats and how many on republicans nowadays. I always found the Jew support for the democrats awkward, and I have felt bitter about it.

Jewish people in the United states are largely Liberal.

Actually when it comes to demographics... they have the highest percenage of self reported liberals ethnic/religious groups outside of Atheists.

But Atheists just barely nudge Jewish people by a couple percentage points.

It seems confusing when you consider the fact that republican conservatism is a lot like jewish people around the rest of the world... but really... the Jewish Americans by and large haven't had to go through the same shit other jews around the world have... they've had different expeirnces and therefore different outlooks.

Unless you have proof that they dislike Israel, then yeah its bias, since you don't have proof, apathy is not hate, preference of Palestinians, does not mean you hate Israel, so yeah you are reaching.

You're not using reasoning skills though, as you yourself point out, another group that has a totally different reason may be the one that is the real percentage, what you are trying to argue is that one thing must mean another thing, that disapproving of Israeli policy must mean hatred of Israel, when all it means is disapproval of Israeli policy.

Until you can show that Liberals make up the majority of that 7%, all you have is that 7% of Americans hate Israel, and that Liberals are more likely to prefer Palestine, but the two aren't interchangeable nor does one indicate the other, heck, a person could hate Israel and Palestine as well, it isn't a zero sum game as you seem to think.

No... it's not bias.  Once again... it's basic reasoning skills.

A points to B points to C.  Lack of any other reasonable conclusion leads to C.

The fact that you can't draw these connections is really mindboggling.   I mean... why would moderates... who like Israel more then Liberals HATE Israel... even though they like it more then Liberals.

I don't need to "show" anything.  Just about anyone can tell you your being quite ridiculious.

But hey one last example.

Lets not forget that there are a lot of Conservatives that hate Israel.  The Klu Klux Klan and a drunken Mel Gibson come to mind.

So, those weapons they make, completely useless to everyone but Israel, right?

I would Suggest Israel to play cool. US must do everything in its right to stop Israel from any such adventurous action. If they do that we have a problem in Hand.
People have short memories. A solution to the Problem of Palestine will help Israel to the most. If they can grow at this pace when they are facing problems all around them they can progress and grow faster if they have peace.
Do not spend all the money they make on war hardware.

I'll save that in case someone keeps persisting what they are doing but came off as a little too harsh on some person.  Of course it should if they decide to argue so much without logic but whatever. Main point is people need to stop being so paranoid about ideology and party.  Stop marginalizing (false I might add) and simply debate individual opinions and you'll get along a lot better.

Screw Israel, oh, but some of you already know my attitude in regards to this. :)

If anyone does anything against Iran it must be US led. Israel needs to stfu and gtfo of WB/Gaza and Palestinian/rest of Middle Eastern affairs.

Obama's stance on Israel's illegal settlements is the first real balanced approach to Israeli aggression in decades from a US President.
