The boy who said that does not even have a PS3. Seems like the console warrior in him came out and he decided it would be best to make a long ass post mixed with some terrible comments. It's understandable though since it is such a huge franchise and it selling well will see a reduction in e-peins size for the MS fanboys. It's how Sony fanboys are insecure about Halo selling well, the larger the franchise the more 'haters' it will have. That said I SO care about Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Gran Turismo and Ryu Ga Gotoku titles selling well. >_> |
I owned a Ps3 60GB and now own a Ps3 Slim... You think I don't have one because I don't go around sticking "B.E.L.I.E.V.E" or "IT ONLY DOES EVERYTHING!" in my sig. I don't support Microsoft or Sony THAT much. My respect goes out to the video game developers.
I haven't botherd with PSN either as I have very few exclusives for my Ps3, most of which are single player only. I will set it up soon though since a couple of exclusives are coming out with worth while multiplayer. All multi-platform gaming gets done on my Xbox 360 Elite and my two favorite game series, luckily for me... are both on the Xbox 360 this generation.
I hope GT5 does well (I don't care if it doesn't I'm still buying it along with Forza Motorsport 3, OMG!?) but nothing will stop me from pointing out the obvious flaws in any games I play, or will play, even if they're my favorite's.
Halo 2-3 for example... I HATE the floaty jump physics! The amount of times I have died by jumping, bouncing of a ramp/corner and floated/slid off the edge of a map to my death isn't funny. It's not too bad but it's sure is annoying when it gets you.
I understand that the car in the video above is indeed a Rally Car so it will have extra grip and traction (Handling if you like) but the wall sliding does not do the simulation aspect of the game any justice. Wall sliding at 130kph (80mph) without crashing or spinning of the wall is terrible for a driving/racing simulator and you would think after 13 years Poly would have fixed this a by now... Players WILL abuse this online.
The graphics on the other hand are gorgeous (like every GT before it). Like CGI-Quality has already pointed out... Polyphony have got the lighting down to the tee and the cars chassis actually looks like real metal and not some sort of reflective plastic like Forza Motorsport 3, which still looks beautifull If i may add.
