They were pretty spot on though, low only on 2 games so far. I'd reconsider what I said, they seem to have a lot of preorder information before games are out. Those aren't really predictions lol, those are numbers based on preorders. Cheaters, but I still see some games too low.

I'm also very surprised at FF13. Those are the expectations it seems.
Soriku, those are shipment numbers not first week figures. That's why they may seem frontloaded, they are expecting the game not to sell all it's shipment in the first week.
For example for SD Gundam G, they expected sales to be no more than the first shipment, meaning they thought it wasn't gonna be able to sell even its first shipment. But they failed pretty bad on that one.

i think Famitsu underestimated the sale number of PS2 and PS3 games. for PS3 games, that was before the price cut announcement. so, it's understandable.
they must be very surprised by the sale number of SD GUndam G Generation on PS2 'cause their estimate number is way off.

ff13 seems a bit low for the hype behind it.
If that's what FFXIII is going to sell on the PS3 then the next mainline FF game will be on a handheld.

The 610k is for the Wii version, not the DS one. That one is at 410k at Vgchartz.
