Did you even play the game? There is a lot more to collect in this than in any other Zelda game. they took at 40 heart pieces but they added 60 spirit gems and another 60 (or something like that) ship parts.

I am so tired of listening to Zelda "fans" complain. You find something wrong with every single freaking game and latch onto it rather than enjoy the game as a whole. They change the formula and whine. They don't change it enough and you whine. Why do you people even play the damn games?

I honestly think some people play games just to have something to complain/talk about.

Not a perfect game, but a fun one. I miss the heart pieces. Getting and digging up treasure is kinda anti climactic now:

"Ooo, a treasure map, what will the sea hold for me... a piece of pink coral. Worth 40 rupees. Huh."

I'm holding out that one of the sea treasures is in fact a heart container, but you get them in some weird ways (Missing 2).

But there's at least 2 upgrades per useable weapon, there's the 60 force gems, there's ship parts (Not certain if there is at least 1 of each, there's random winnings from games), there's treasure maps, there's treasures (which really are just more money now), there's sand (Makes sense once you play the game).

I recommend it, but I don't think it is the pinnacle of the Zelda experience, it's just a good one.

Got it just yesterday (my local retailer broke the EU release date) and I think it's one of the best Zelda games; I don't mind it not having heart pieces as long as it has enough stuff to do after I finish the game (the only thing that I didn't like in TP). If what you say is true (ship parts, spirit gems) I'm more than happy.
