again with the "ahh its not a game i'll probably rent it cause it doesn't go pew pew pew"
seriously guys....

Agreed. Actually this and Uncharted 2 will probably both not sell as well as they deserve to. And I will be hunting down all the PS3 owner's who claim to be "hardcore" and don't buy these games and giving them atomic wedgies.

No doubt this game will be an accomplishment in the graphics department, I would think a bunch of QTE's stringing together a movie doesn't have the sales potential.

I would expect somewhere around 500k lifetime.

Interesting, ever since the topic creator had a disagreement with me, he's been on a rant against HEAVY RAIN.....go figure....

Either way, the game could sell just ONE copy (that of course being at mine ) and I'd be fine. I'm going to enjoy the game regardless. That's what it's all about

A funny observation though, for a guy with the name: MrNathanDrake, you sure post a lot of negativity towards Sony....

Really? Not seen it myself ...

i predict HR to do over a million. many gamers will want to have a go on HR. its a new type of game exp. i am deffo getting this.

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

We are at a sales forum, so you can expect threads about sales.

Where have I been on a rant against heavy Rain? I actually gave kudos to the game and praised it, but I also said it just isn't going to be a big seller. That's honesty.

Post a lot of negativity towards Sony? Sorry, I love my PS3. But I'm not blind and I call a spade a spade. When they messed up the firmware, I was being honest about it.

I've actually seen alot of negativity from "MrNathanDrake" about Sony as well. Intresting...

Maybe, just maybe...

Sorry NathanDrake, but 'your spree is at an end , criminal scum'.

A cookie to anybody who nails this quote.

I'd say over a million seeing as how you don't really have to be a gamer to play this.

Yeah, but how many non-core people own a PS3 and then how many of those buy games for their PS3 and finally how many of those will know about this game?

This isn't something like LBP that's an easy sell to the mythical casual crowd, this would actually be a pretty hard game to sell to those casuals.

Flop is the wrong word but I don't think it will sell a million and it definitely won't make money.

Which begs the question, was it all worth it?
