@ROBOT ,so your happy to plug in the ps2 when ever you need it rather than just use the old ps3

I'm doing the same thing but I haven't sold my original 60GB PS3 yet (but I have bought a Slim).

Am I the only one who notices how much louder the Slim is? Once a game starts going (and there's no sound from the TV, say during a loading screen) the fans are really noticeable. They may be smaller but their sound has a much higher pitch to it, so it probably isn't "louder" per se but definitely more noticeable. AND the disc really chugs inside the machine when it's trying to load something, which bugs me.

i got $175 towards the ps3 slim and traded in some 360 games i have beaten to finish the purchase.

@darthdevidem01, i am thinking about getting gt5 when it comes out , not too sure though. i cant wait too play all these nis games that are coming soon. :)
