Let's try not to always attack people with opposing opinions, this is a forum not some back alley. The OP is merely asking a question, sometimes I wonder about the logic of some of you.

It is more like these games benefited more by them being more closely associated with Sony hardware than anything else. The 360 will always have games that sell more due to the fact a lot of their games are geared toward timed exclusives, which allow the larger user base of the 360 (for now) to get games before the Sony hopeful. Other than that and the 360 image of being the "shooter box" by some, it will enjoy more sales by default and due to it's larger current user base. |
uh oh.
My spidey senses tell me a list war is now incoming
Someone's now going to feel obliged to list the 360 multiplats that outsold the PS3 version.
And so it begins

Tomb raider had exclusive content on the xbox 360, ps3 outsold it still

I heard the reason why that sold better on the PS3 was because we had a chance to play the demo...

Actually, 2 of those examples are timed exclusives as well.
lmao what a question... I think the preoders on 360 vs PS3 is like 3:1 or something in america
please do some research before post a thread. I'm sure in the near future majority games will sell more on 360 than ps3. not only shooters.
games could sell more on ps3: JRPG, some original PS2 games, games have exclusive contents on PS3 and released with the xbox360 version together.

Actually it probably sold better due to the later trophy support added (never underestimate the needs of a trophy whore LOL).

our OP sounds as clueless as Vince Young claims in that GQ magazine...

You should be wondering about the logic of the OP.
A little off topic but I noticed in the NPD data that they had the 360 version of Batman selling higher than the PS3 version but VG chartz still has it the other way around, I'm sure it's close but I'm surprised they haven't adjusted the numbers a little.
