This is laughable....

It's definitly going to fall under 150k in Feb to Sep next year

For the rest of the year: it will stay above 200k WW.

It should manage that into January. By February, it will start dipping below 200k.

yea the ps2 couldn't do it.  I haven't looked at every statistic but i'm sure this holds true, only the wii in 2008 has ever sold above 200k every week in a year. 

And that was just one year. Its peak year. In 2009, it's been under 200k quite a bit.

Squilliam made this same prediction for the 360. He was wrong in the third week of January, and kept being wrong, save for TWO WEEKS, for the rest of the year (so far).

Make it 150k, there's a chance. Make it 100k, pretty much certain (depending on your definition of "the rest of the generation".

None of those are going to push any hardware. They are all new IPs.

The 360 of 2008 fell below 200k in week 3. The PS3 of 2010 could go as far as week 7 or 8.

However silly the OP's predictions might be, they pale in comparison to the ludicrous Wii predictions we have and have had in here (people seem to be waking up somewhat now though).

They have a lot of room to cut the price.

Most consoles LAUNCH at 300.

So if it does fall, they'll just rise it again.
