It would be nice if we got numbers. Increasing, decreasing, beating another console is all great anecdotally, but how about actual sales numbers? If, in fact, it's 178% of sales of previous week of, say, 6700 units per vg chartz, you are looking at 11,926 based on a 1.78 multiplier or 18,600 units or so if you look at it as a Doubling plus 78%. People use "increase by X percent" incorrectly quite often so I wouldn't put too much into it until we have an actual number to work with. Regardless, even if it is the bigger number, that's not enough to put a dent in the 360's overall lead as the PS3 needs to start selling half a million or so MORE consoles than the 360 on a worldwide basis to have any hope of catching the 360 by early 2009...
