I think people are really doubting the 360's ability to sell FFXIII here... I get that its been a predominately PS franchise for the past 14 years but so had GTA and Resident Evil, and look what happened there!

RE5 sold better on The PS3. The 360 Fanbase has shown that it's hated JRPGs. PS3 look at the sales of Valkyria and WKC

360 hasn't gotten that many top-quality JRPG's though,  they all have been crap to ok.

 

and LO is still the highest selling JRPG on HD consoles so far.

Like it or not JRPGs are just not as popular as they used to be, and outside of FF and DQ (whos success is almost entirely isolated in japan), they just dont sell that well. Also the sales of WKC arent so amazing as to prove any point, VC however was a very pleasant surprise.
