I say between 1_5% second week and 10-15% first week only because I bought one and I kept my launch 60gb console. It is good to have have blu-ray and games on both my HD tv's.

japan has a high percentage of ps3 rebuying the ps3 slim thats for sure...

I bought a slim and gave (that's right, gave) my 40gb phat to a friend (a good friend).

Why, you ask? Cause I'm an idiot. I also have loads of games that I still haven't opened yet (on all 3 consoles, and even handhelds).

I have a 60Gb phat with BC, I won't trade it for a slim.

That would be interesting to be able to find out. I agree with the original post, that the % of rebuys is greater in Japan, than Others/North America and that is why Japan had a much steeper second week drop.

I've still got my old 80GB PS3 Phatass. I only have 2 games for it though...MGS4, and Force Unleashed, so i would be in the group that won't be getting or trading my PS3 Phat for a Slim. I love the gloss on the Phatass, including the touch sensitive buttons much better anyway.
