finally played the demo!!

Hmmm.... going to try the demo, i've got a buncha new games to play, but this really does look good.

what is the overall play time?

Fair enough, is there replay value of any kind though?

Oh an' i know i must'uve said this before somewhere in this thread, but i'll say it again, nice job CGI!

I am currently on my second playthrough and replay value is overwhelming as you can make multiple decisions at any given time with any of the characters which will impact the story according to your actions and choices as well as reactions. There are 4 different endings, so yes there is an untold amount of replay value. CGI is correct about the 8-12 hours, it depends on your style and how long you take to explore everything. This game is off the hook, i have never felt so involved in a video game and it definitely sets new standards for story lines and character development. Play the demo, get a taste and then buy it on the first day, probably a purchase you will remember for a long time.

In my opinion, it's nothing fantastic, but it's reasonably decent. I'm only about halfway through.

It's also a VERY VERY VERY acquired taste.

I got addicted by the Heavy Rain Demo so I think I'll start it as well,to get my dose until heavy rain comes out :)

The Heavy Rain demo is better than all but one of the levels I've played in Fahrenheit so far. Incidentally, the opening level.

It starts very strong indeed, then slowly descends into an incoherent, irritating mess.

I'm on the fence about getting Heavy Rain. Is it a rental or a game to own? Is it really a new genre defining game? Is it all graphics and no game?
