Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6). This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

13 millions is for the fiscal year.
So far they have sold 2957k.
10 millions units to go...
It's going to be tough.

I see them reaching 11.5-12 millions units easily, more will be hard.
One thing that concerns me is whether they will have enough units made for the Chrismas sales ( they are selling so fast right now that I don't think they are able to stockpile that many units...)

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

Well, 2 weeks > Wii WW. I only thought one.

Being as it is still ~2x Wii worldwide sales and Wii has no big games this week to pump it up, PS3 might pull another WW leader this week. But, it will be a lot closer.

150l-200k would be my guess for this weeks sales.

Exactly so, if they reach 12 million by VGChartz numbers (as we count sold to consumer, right? Sony counts shipped) or so and then you add GT5 and Final Fantasy + stuffing the channel, it's definitely not impossible. difficult maybe, but not impossible.
