They better make a new Kid Icarus. I have been waiting since the first one was made on the Nes

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

idk. If Icarus was really a dead franchise, why mention it at all? He could have mentioned live ones like Animal Crossing, or something.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Kid Icarus is a strange game to mention. The last Kid Icarus was 18 years ago, on GameBoy.

Odd that it would jump into his head.... Nintendo haven't developed a Kid Icarus game during the time Reggie has been there. It could be he's let something slip, but it isn't worth getting excited over. It could just be a poor example of what Nintendo develops these days.

I want this series revived if only so we can stop hoping for it and then having our hopes dashed year after year.

That's fair analysis, but nothing to get excited over.

Odd, but I still won't expect Kid Icarus.

Yeah thats a great idea. Go on G4 and mention Animal Crossing as one of Nintendo's major ip's.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
