A very valid point. But it could still hit ''AAA' status. I am seriously steeling myself for this one though as I have tendency to freak out when I fail repeatedly in a game. May need to take some yoga classes and save some extra money for replacment Dualshocks.

I think that WRPG's are mostly defined by their love of choices. Specifically within conversations. In Demon's Souls you have actions you can take or not, but never do you choose yes or no when talking to anyone. You do have the ability to kill anyone you want which is WRPG-like.

It doesn't matter, it IS a triple A game, it's one of the TOP 3 BEST on PS3, and one of the best games in this gen 'nuff said.

you will get your body back and souls (to buy/fix things and level up)

after you defeat the boss, each gamers will rate the other gamers (within ~30-40 seconds)

and the souls will be divided proportionally (according to the rating) to each gamers

- 100+ hours of gameplay

- weak story

oh and being linear has nothing to do with it. Both KOTOR and Mass Effect are quite linear as well and there classified as WRPG's. But nevertheless this game is going to be awesome and should be recommended to fans of both genres

Nearly every JRPG has over 100 hours of gameplay

Demon's Souls does not have a weak story. I rather like it.

odd since i cant think of one. unless u plan on getting 100% but usually its around 30-40 hours tops on main story. But most WRPG's i find expecially fallout 3 and oblivion have an enormous amount of hours in their games more than any JRPG ever made
