Who cares? This game is going to be awesome.

This + 3D Dot Game Heroes has made me a big fan of From Software this gen.

It won't be 90 or higher. Will probs wind up at 87. But I don't need a number to tell me that this game is AAA.

It's getting much higher scores than I expected. I figured some noob would give it a 6 because it's "too hard".

I think we will see a couple of 6s or 7s, though. I'm expecting a high 80s Metacritic when all is said and done, based on the way things are going. Maybe an 86.

I would love for this game to end up over 90, however, even if it may seem trivial and stupid.  It just deserves it.  After having not played the game for a couple of months, I'm finding myself constantly wanting TO play it, and whenever I see some screens, art, coer shots, whatever, I get all giddy inside.  When I finished the game I put it around third on my list of favorite ps3 games, tied with Uncharted.  It's left a much longer lasting impression on me than other games, however, and it's slowly edging up my list as a result.  Honestly, I look back on the game with much more fondness than even MGS4 now. Only LBP tops it on ps3, imo.

I believe everyone that's played it so far has said it lol. I know at least wenlan and I have made similar comments in the past, and probably outlaw too.

And yeah, I do plan to restart.  I have the Deluxe Edition reserved.  It's the first game I've ever bought twice (not counting Virtual Console stuff).  I hope to Platinum the Asian version before the NA version comes out, but I don't think I'll have time.  =(

I'm gonna be pimping those awesome posters left and right. The Demon's Souls one is sooo awesome. The God of War one also has concept art for the God of War comic on the back.

If by AAA you mean 90+ meta, no. There are going to be people who HATE this game because they don't understand the combat and will find creative ways to pan it. I fully expect at least a couple reviews in the 40-60 range.

I wish people would stop using the term AAA though. Distilling an entire game into an aggregate number is a gross and inaccurate oversimplification.

From what i have heard it is gonna be a great title unfortantly sales wise it is probably be overlooked cause of ratchet and clank as well as uncharted 2 overshadowing it, but i am definitly getting demon souls when it comes out myself as i need a good rpg fix.
