Well then I have to assume you are the tracker. All you know for certain is who I targetted, but not why. The schpele is a nice way to convince people you must know I am mafia when you really only have that I targetted someone. Again, if I were mafia then you would be dead. Investigating someone would appear the same as targeting them to kill in your eyes though, no?

I normally like to play cat and mouse about role claims, but I will be gone most of the day so I can't really. Yes, I am claiming cop. No, I am not certain if I am sane or naive. Yes, I invetigated dtewi. Mafia lurking have an inherent advatange of no slip-ups. No, he wasn't mafia.

You're not the cop.  You're only claiming the cop role because we've had multiple cops and you think you can get away with it.  You won't.

Sadly, I don't believe you, Gnizmo, your cop confession is too forced. WoW's claim makes sense, if she's the tracker/watcher, then Gnizmo targeted dtewi

I don't blame you. He doesn't need to post a lot, but it would be great if he had confirmed that he was ready. Maybe something's come up, who knows? We don't have to worry about it now, though I'm sure he'll come back and be very indignant at being killed off before he got to do anything.

The way I see it, there are a few possible scenarios; Gnizmo is a cop who investigated dtewi, or Gnizmo is mafia who killed dtewi. Honestly, either WoW is playing a very clever game or is telling the truth. I'm inclined to believe the latter, at least for now. If WoW was in fact mafia, then how would he have known that Gnizmo also targeted dtewi (which we know that he did, since he's basically confirmed it). The only way that would work was if WoW was mafia and was targeting fellow mafia member Gnizmo. For now though, I'll go with my gut.

Since I can't edit, I apologize for posting two times in a row, but I want to add something.

If WoW was the cop, then there was no way that he would have known that Gnizmo also targeted dtewi. WoW can't be the cop. I'm not sure if this was a slip or not, but he said "WoW appears to be the cop." So, if we take this as true, then he believes that there is only one cop, and believed that the cop was WoW. That would make his role claim false.

I may be looking a bit too much into that, but I thought I'd throw it out there. Also, Gnizmo could be playing a very clever game in killing off the guy who hasn't posted yet, and then claiming that if he was mafia, he would kill WoW right away because WoW is such a threat.

Exactly. And even if that happens, lynching Gnizmo makes it a win for us. I think the odds of WoW guessing who Gnizmo targeted are horribly low, so we have to trust that Gnizmo targeted dtewi (which he's not denying). And since dtewi is now dead, then the most logical choice is lynching. There are two options, either WoW is tracker and Gnizmo is mafia, or WoW is bluffing, she got increidibly lucky and Gnizmo is innocent. I'll use Occam's Razor here, and say that the option we gotta choose is the first
