Some of your points are valid, some of them vary from game to game.

I agree with the leveling limit thing though. Unless there are missables.

Baldur's Gate 2

If you count it as an ARPG, it demolishes all ARPGs released this gen. And last gen. And the gen before.

The only real competition it has is Diablo, and going by reviews... Baldur's Gate 2 > Diablo.

I do like them, i just dislike Fable 2.

But when compared to Bioware, Blizzard and even Bethesda... they just dont compete when it comes to quality.
