^^^ when was the last time 2 consoles were competing this hard in Japan? I think it could be a blessing in disguise for Japan that will probably lift the industry from this rough period it's having

Updated the OP. Added Pikachu's Big Adventure, which releases the same week as NSMBWii and Samurai Warriors 3.

Added a few other Wii games that were missing.

Updated the OP:

Added Infamous for the PS3 on the first week of November
Added PES 2010 for the Wii + the Classic controller Pro bundle on the second week of December.
Added TV Show King 2 for the Wii on the first week of December.

The only games without a concrete release date that are probably coming out this year are NFS Nitro for the Wii and End of Eternity for the PS3. The list is complete so far.

And yet by the time GT5 comes out in March, the PS3 will have sold over 5 million units there.  There has to be a game that is primarily responsible for that.
