Then N64 gets Super Smash Brothers. Now we're even. To make the guy wrong did another console have to win or did Wii just not have to have the most?

Wii has to have the most out of all consoles, and I left out several games from my list.

Wii still wins, more core games than you thought huh?

Your argument is still stunningly flawed. You didn't set up a timeframe in which to bee considered: I don't know if trestres would have even necessarily disagreed with you if you had said "Nintendo has put out more core gams than in any other generation in a comparable timeframe".

Trestres smeared your Wii list - you might as well change the boundaries of your claim.

That's even more of a strong point. Wii, by mid next year (3.5 years into lfie cycle). Will have more core games than any other Nintendo console, in their entire lifespan. If we were to just count the first 3 years it would be no contest whatsoever, Wii wins.

.....No, that is not the case. If we include all core titles, somebody is going to drop a list that would break the thread.

Hmm, I guess I should have specified first party then. Even so, that's what we've been talking about this entire thread anyway, I assumed you know I mean first party.

Let me just check something...

Did i just read through a thread where somebody said Link's Crossbow Training was classed as a core game?

Why, yes. Why do you ask?

Now, before you answer: will it be with a dismissal out of hand, or will you try to reason with me on that front?

@Ph4nt: You never claimed that. GC would still be ahead anyways for the 1st 3 years, but that would be another claim. Your first one was not true.

Bets with Conegamer:

Pandora's Tower will have an opening week of less than 37k in Japan. (Won!)
Pandora's Tower will sell less than 100k lifetime in Japan.
Stakes: 1 week of avatar control for each one.

Wii is ahead of GC, and yes, my claim is correct.

I would actually like to know what is "core" about it.

Wii is definitely not ahead of GC, lol. You should really check the GC lineup before making such claim.

I see a role reversal here. I coughed up the list when I was in the hot seat, now you need to backu up your claims.

Oh, do excuse me. I'll be glad to explain.

First, we have to agree on one point: being a budget title does not preclude a game from being core. It is perfectly imaginable that a $20 game could be a core title. Are we agreed?

I dont know the $ to £ rates so i dont know how much that would cost over here, but sure. Go on...

Could you also give me your definition of "core" aswell, please?
