Forums - Gaming - Is no one excited about Borderlands?

I dunno.  With all sorts of hype threads for games like Infamous, Prototype... etc in the past...

I'm surprised Borderlands isn't getting any love.

It's an RPG shooter by a company that mostly worked on FPS.

It's supposed to be Diablo with guns.

The terrain and stuff outside of the towns is going to be randomly generated.

The enemies are procedurally generated, and the same enemies won't all work the same way.

There is co-op.

According to MTV there are over 3 million guns.  Which means you could find a gun a minute for 6 years and still not find all the guns.

There are 4 classes.... and the 4 classes have different branching skill paths.

I mean if the shooting mechanics are good this is possible the most replayable game ever.

Why isn't anyone hyped by the fact that you'll never know what's coming?

Or that you can play a co-op game with your friend and even if your the same guys with the same skills, you'll be vastly different due to the fact that it's highly unlikely the two of you will have teh same gun?

It's the holiday thing, my schedule is full

I am quite interested in it but it is just one of the many games that release this holiday.

But I also don't want to get spoiled by previews of this game;... This is one of those game I will buy without knowing much about it.

Wasn't impressed by the trailer at all. Could be fun, but I will never own it.

Eh, I think people are kinda tired of open world games.

I am, but it's right behind Demon's Souls and Alpha Protocol for me. It looks incredibly sweet, though.

What´s Borderlands?

That is the question I would have asked if I hadn't learned about it a few days ago. Don't care about it.

I was until the graphical modifications. I don't prefer cell-shaded games, but I'm still going to check it out in 2010. My holiday list is currently full...

Se, the change in art style was the only thing that got me remotely interested in this in the first place.

I am buying. Looks like a damn fun loot whore FPS co-op game.

I did not even know that it was an openworld game. There is not nearly enough hype about it. This is going to be one of the casualties of the Holliday rush
