I dunno. With all sorts of hype threads for games like Infamous, Prototype... etc in the past...
I'm surprised Borderlands isn't getting any love.
It's an RPG shooter by a company that mostly worked on FPS.
It's supposed to be Diablo with guns.
The terrain and stuff outside of the towns is going to be randomly generated.
The enemies are procedurally generated, and the same enemies won't all work the same way.
There is co-op.
According to MTV there are over 3 million guns. Which means you could find a gun a minute for 6 years and still not find all the guns.
There are 4 classes.... and the 4 classes have different branching skill paths.
I mean if the shooting mechanics are good this is possible the most replayable game ever.
Why isn't anyone hyped by the fact that you'll never know what's coming?
Or that you can play a co-op game with your friend and even if your the same guys with the same skills, you'll be vastly different due to the fact that it's highly unlikely the two of you will have teh same gun?
