I think until sony releases a game that looks BETTER THAN CRYSIS, they wont destroy microsoft.

NIntendo is not sony's competition, sony need to take microsoft out so the developers will have no shoice but too develop exclusives on the ps3 and then they can deal with nintendo.

The idea of it being a fight to the finish is asinine.

Ms will improve form last gen and finally post a profit a win for them, while Sony has the market penetration world wide to beat MS, and once they get all their services running all of Sony will be banking of the PS3 a win for them as a whole.

Well Nintendo did well financially with the Gamecube, so no matter what they are laughing.

One of Microsoft's main objectives (if the THE main one) is to take out Sony or at least contain their presence in living rooms. If they take out the Playstation and any other multi-media player/computer Sony plans, then I think they would be okay with Xbox dying as well.

Sony is the one most at risk. Not only is the PS3 vital to their game division but also Blu-ray, and digital distribution plans. They will fight hard to carve out a profitable niche (at least), but if Microsoft prevents that completely (profitability) then they may have to let that dream die and restructure the company.

 Anyone who is attached to either Sony or Microsoft is pathetic. Both companies are faceless conglomerates (not that Nintendo is any different).

Playstation and Xbox fanboys have their reasons. At first, they didn't respect Nintendo because they were losing. Now it's because they're winning.

You expect a console which has trouble maintaining acceptable framerates (at a lower resolution) to a middle of the road gaming PC will somehow gain the processing power to produce better effects than a game which will only run well on a really good gaming PC?

You should start selling whatever you're on ...

Anyways ... If people cared about processing power or graphical effects the Wii would never have been able to outsell the XBox 360 or PS3. The premise that people will eventually start to care is flawed so the conclusion that the PS3 will come back is probably false.

Sony vs Ms war is from last gen. PS2 was winnning but xbox was more powerfull, PS2 had the FF and GTA while Xbox had Halo.

They hate nintendo for same reason as last gen, with plenty new ones to add.

I think MS will lag behind from mid-next year, Ps3 will cross 360 in 09, & come within 20 Million of the wii.

Will MS and Sony take each other out?

Well if taking each other out means getting better features & trying to make better games than each other then NO as this is good for the consumer.

Will T-Ps might not want to get involved?

Get involved in them, why not?? If Ps3 + 360 = >> than wii, then yes they will get involved

Nintendo's fate is profitability and success, GREAT success....
