Harrison, you're a great actor and all but you're just too damned old for this role.

I'm going to blaspheme and say that a new Indy is needed.

I'd rather they kill the franchise completely. This would destroy it!

Didn't destroy Bond. Sure nobody has ever matched Connery - but there have still been some very good Bonds since.

You can't have it Lucas! I thought of it first!

This.  Keep the franchise going with new (not Shia) Indy.

I haven't seen the latest movie and I don't intent on it, but hopefully a new one wont have something as extreme as the fridge thing.

So the last one had a good script then?

Flashbacks with a 70year old Harrison Ford? CGI and make up can only go so far...

I'd rather watch Harrison act in a wheelchair than have Shia as Indy.

No Shia as Indy!!!  No!!!

That being said,  I think that having a new actor playing Indy is what's needed for this franchise if they want it to continue.  Maybe George Lazenby's available.

Not in my book.  Raiders remains for me the benchmark they've never managed to equal, although I did enjoy the Connery/Ford interplay in Crusade.

I suppose if you compare it to say Transformers 2 it doesn't seem that bad... but that's really faint praise.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Raiders and Crusade are still the best, though I still think Temple is by far the worst. Crystal Skull was certainly much closer to Raiders and Crusade, than Temple was, because Temple was utter shit.

I don't really know how I feel about a 5th movie though, Ford is starting to get old after all. I think I'd rather have them kill the franchise.
