What? Despite how crazy people (including myself) thought Crazzyman was, he actually predicted something good. I'd say he was almost right in the middle between the actual total, and the total most of the thread repliers believed.

I don't really see why you come here, if all you are going to do is complain. I'm not saying that all the sales threads around here are accurate, nor that they're all necessary. However, the majority of them are actually interesting, and not that far off the truth.

This thread counts as one of the latter.

don't listen to him. This is a great thread and an important aspect of sales to look at. How well the consoles do outside of holiday sales is just as important to a business as anything else.

Was "him" Grimes there? I'm sorry if I came across as rude, but Grimes was accusing someone of misusing data without even reading the thread properly. That's the sort of stuff that derails a thread completely.

yes.

With ODST, the X360 sold 8.3 million and the Wii sold 7.5 million, so his statistics are correct.

I'm also rather surprised by this.

Yip the 4th time X360 software has outsold wii software since Jan 2007

That is wild. 360 has half the install base but about the same sales.
That would equal something twice the attach rate. What that number is I have no idea.

Hmmm an attach rate comparison would be interesting as well. *sigh*

Guess that will be next thing to look into and keep track of.
