It seems the Wii is dropping pretty fast in Japan.

Who thinks the PS3 will pass the Wii (weekly sales/Japan-only, of course) by the end of October? Remember the price drop + Eye of Judgement/Ratchet should help sell more consoles.

 And if it does get to #1. Do you think it can stay ahead of the Wii through the remaining of 2007?

Wii will pick up in a little bit because of a couple of great games comin out.

the PS3 could If Eye of Judgment is as anticipated as it seems to be. But it wont be ever lasting. The PS3 needs to get a price cut in Japan soon.

IF the price drop of Ps3 & 40GB with Dynasty warriors 6 had released in OCT then YES Ps3 would've beaten WII SALES for remainder of this month

But the price drop n new model come out JUST AFTER the SMG release

so that makes it unlikely

You just made this up. I love when people link something and say: "See?" when that link actually shows that they're wrong.

PS3 sales went up 3,000 units last week, to 13,000 -- but sales of the system had been falling for 7 weeks consecutively before that. That is, according to the link you just provided me. A 3,000 unit climb for one single week when the PS3 is already behind by over 2.3 million units in Japan is a pretty desperate claim for a growing trend.
