fuck who hires these donkeys everywhere. they need to have like a dedicated PR team that is the only MEDIA point of contact. other people need to be put back in the closet and kept quiet.

There were a lot of backend infrastructure changes that allowed for better rollout of changes to the service.  The changes also allowed for services like Primetime(1 vs 100) to be possible.

Can't wait to see what possible new technologies there could be.
Thought I'd get a post in before this thread gets hijacked and becomes a fud fest.

I know it's PR - but until Natal is officially successful it isn't anything other than a new peripheral at this stage.

I like a lot of what it offers, but it may still end up, from a gaming point of view, as a peripheral only used by a small percentage of the user base. It's too early to remotely call it an 'evolution' with the success and market changing dynamics that implies.

XBOX 360 slim on the way then.. They may also be looking at peripherals such as the Vitality Sensor to broaden the systems appeal.

Zune HD connectivity makes sense -- except that Microsoft has said that it is NOT bringing that to the UK/EU.

But truly it does mean that this generation will continue for a while longer.
