Forums - Gaming - Small Post Count = Unfairly Discriminated Against

I'll soon be crossing the threshold of 500 posts, so it's ok. :p

I have been a member here for a few years or so and have very low post count and no avatar; never really thought about either untill now. Guess I'm more of a reader than a writer.

I think members with high post counts who spend all day here deserve some sense of ownership of the site, and should be able to correct the behavior of Noobs on the forums. As for discrimination, I would like to think my posts would be ignored and or ripped apart like the best of them....

You made the account in march 08. post MORE!

Most of the time people seem to be arguing over BS that has nothing to do with the enjoyment of games and or "the numbers", so I stay out of it. On a more important side note just passed my 69th post, which I was planning on keeping as long as possible but have been pre-maturely forced to leave behind due to the requests of someone with a high post count than me.

one forum im on is discussing removing post counts from public view. i think that would go a little way to help that. but then people would discriminate against lower post wealth or whatever its called here.

I think it would be fun to rid the site of the entire left column for a day. That way your response wouldn't be influenced by who the poster is, but rather by what they say

Oh, the epicness that would be...

That would be really confiusing. Somebody could make a post, and then three more posts agreeing with him. Everything would be a huge mess.

It might be interesting, though.

The idea that newbie posters are singled out due to post count is strictly speculation. That may be true sometimes, but perhaps it has more to do with reputation and general posting approach than post count.

I would have posted my answer sooner, but I had to wait until you had more than 3,045 posts.

I don't ever feel like I get discriminated against for lower post counts, but maybe I post too infrequently to notice that I do :P

I remember you because of your awesome taste in comedy.

Everyone in this thread with under 1000 posts needs to post more

Haha, poor Leo-J then.

I discriminate equally without regards to post count.

Thanks for the input, Jeff.
