Yeah i'm a huge fan of pixel art.  Though i do perfer the 2D variations.

What i can see, i both love it and hate it.

That would be ripping zelda off.

It's a ripoff unless you get premission from the orignal source.

I'm guessing the Zelda guys didn't give permission for a Sony only game.

It wasn't like Nintendo was going to give us NES/SNES style Zelda with 3D pixelated sprites. I doubt they ever would have given that to us.

Just be appreciative that From Software actually is gifting us with something so incredibly awesome.

I really hope this gets an Asian release with English subs. I don't want to wait till mid-late 2010 to possibly grab this game, I want it ASAP!

Oh I think it's awesome.... but i'm just calling a spade a spade.

There have been a lot of awesome ripoffs.

For example Thanos the guy in my Avatar was originally a ripoff of darkseid and then he evolved into something way more kickass.

more like a tribute to the 8bit era than a rip off IMO.

No... it's directly copying.  Parody would require poking fun at the old 8-bit way.

A tribute would be called an Homage.

And an homage is still a ripoff without the creators consent.

Also to even qualify as an homage the from software guys would have to admit they were copying zelda.
