Tales of Vesperia PS3 Fixes Major Gripe From 360 Version13 September 2009 by Shawn
You may have known about some of the new extras added in the PlayStation 3 version of Tales of Vesperia, such as the superficial changes such as being able to walk around as Repede or having Flynn being an actual party member. What you may not have known about are some small changes that fix some of the major gripes in the Xbox 360 version, making the game much more enjoyable.
One of the most major gripes in the Xbox 360 version of Tales of Vesperia was the inability to skip cutscenes (the non-animated ones). It appears that the Triangle button will allow players to skip the cutscenes, which is very useful to those who are playing the game a second time around and don't want to have to sit through the scenes over again.
Another minor change is showing the "box" from the menu when you get an item from a chest. Since the PS3 version will have new items, this is useful so players don't have to peek inside the menu to find out what an item does. This is also good for new players and makes playing through the game much easier.

Was that a major problem at all?
