Why did so many people join in June of 2008? Kantor, Rabbit, and I all joined within 2 weeks of each other.

I was randomly googling to try and find a site with sales numbers- I wanted to see how the current gen consoles were doing. So, I visited, and visited more and more. For some inexplicable reason, I thought this site was Japanese. The first article I read was written by Rocketpig. It was about how the review system was broken, "This one goes to Eleven- the review system is broken and GTA4 proves it". I fell for a Squilliam thread within my first five posts.

It's amazing how much your opinions change over time. Here is my first ever post:

I look back at it and think "WTF?!" I love CoD4, it's my favourite traditional FPS of all time. It isn't overrated in the slightest. It's definitely not an 8.5, it's a 9.5 (which is in my user review). It owns UT3, Halo 3 and Bad Company, which were three games I compared it to in that post. The graphics weren't disappointing, they were amazing, considering the game was a multiplat. It looks better than a lot of games released in 2009. No KZ2 or MGS4 in graphics, but better than Bad Company and games like that.

Honestly, if I saw somebody making that post today (it wouldn't be me), I would disagree wholeheartedly, and quote them to say so.
