Forums - Sony - Buying a new Hard Drive, HELP!

Well I have an original 60 GB PS3 and it's got about 1.5 GB left lol, so I need to buy another hard drive. I'm not a specialist in this and I've heard some new hard drives can harm your PS3 (and obviously I don't want that), so I found a couple on Ebay and I wanted to see what you guys think, and if it's alright to put in my PS3.

Hard Drive 1

Hard Drive 2

So would either of them be good, is one or the other better?

And if you want you can suggest a better hardrive for a similar price.

Thanks

Ditch EBAY.

you don't have to buy Sony Vaio's hard drive.
i don't know about which is better, but mine is Toshiba it was cheap and works great.

^But are the ones I picked any good though?

They are, but I would go with NEWEGG.

^So whats so great about newegg?

Does it have paypal, because that's pretty much the only way I can pay for stuff online.

You are in Canada, right? I'd actually go with Craigslist first - I found a 250gb HD for my laptop for cheap - $25. You can score tons of deals.

If you want a warranty, go with Newegg. If you get it DOA, they will ship you another one. This is your best option. Those eBay *deals* aren't deals at all.

What, son, what? New York, New York!!!
