more likely the game will be a huge battle where Kratos kills the gods and titans, maybe giving away his power at the end so he him self finally can die.

This is a great story. I understand that lots of people want it to continue, but that would ultimately hurt the series. A critically acclaimed series is always best being a trilogy. That allows for whatever story being told to be expressed in it's fullest without going overboard.

Personally, I want the story to go from a Greek epic to a Greek tragedy. Meaning that Kratos dies in the end (I mean REALLY dies, doesn't die and come back).

God of War 3 is going to be a masterpiece regardless of what happens. I'm sure of it.

Well its not like they will be killing of Kratos for Nariko. It would be because of the story, that all.   It just seems like a perfect fit for the story if he dies,  all of the torment and pain, all of the battles and crawling out of Hades, will finally take its toll on Kratos but not before he can strike down his oppressors.   At least thats the way i see it.   

I only said for Santa Monica Studios to do Heavenly Sword 2 because it would be such a perfect fit especially with all of the experience they have had with the God of War series.   But that is only if the end the God of War series and give him an honorable death.

God of War III will be the last game in the GoW franchise, like Halo 3 was the last game in the Halo franchise.

GOW wont end with the 3rd title...believe me!
