Well I'm giving it a range of 250k-350k for now. My number is more in the 275k but obviously I'm thinking if anything I'll be surprised int he "northern" region haha. Although I do potentially think it could drop as low as 200k next week but I don't see that as the likely scenario. So more like this:
Japan- 75k
America- 100k
E/O- 100k
Smallest drop obviously coming from America because it had the smallest increase haha. But E/O and Japan had enormous increases and I expect enormous drops to go along with that. But E/O might end up being higher than I think it will be. May be able to hold in the 150k range. It's really Japan which I can't judge. I seriously think it could drop below 50k in Japan after this first week. I just see it as a little more realistic right now in the 75k range.
But considering how I was surprised by the opener I don't think surprises are done yet in either direction.
I predict about 225,000. though I heard that there were shortages in Japan though, so there might be a little spike

Its sold out in my area for the most part(save for the Uncharted bundle @399) I think next weeks sales may be hurt by lack of supply. I wouldnt be surprised if sony did not have the new stock available yet so that should hurt in addition to the first week buyers out of the way.
Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Plus, it's getting close to the holidays. Only about three months to go. You figure that parents or potential buyers are hearing about this from word of mouth, but have only had about a week to save for it. Two weeks is better, but who knows. There could be shortages too. |
