Wow. If sony can stabalize itself from here on out at +25k in japan, +35k in Others and +10k in USA and thats excluding holiday bumps with an increased ratio it could pull within 5 million in 12 months.

Thats excluding the obvious hardware bumps of FF13 in Japan and GT WW.

That to me is conservative. By the end of 2010, it could realistically be 4 million WW.

The last variable is the wand and natal whih both could add or subtract 1-2 million either way, imo.

I think by next summer we will be able to realistially and logically discuss end of generation sales between the 360 and PS3 with more merit than fairly unsubstantiated guesswork.

The gap between PS3 and 360 drops by 400k in one week due to PS3 Slim launch and sales adjustments down from 8.25 million to 7.85 million deficit. The PS3 cheerleader squad must be breaking out in full voice now chanting: "Let's go Sony, Let's go".

I as a 360 fan who unfortunately bought a PS3 at an inflated price three months ago. I am bitterly disappointed to see the PS3 Slim at $299 - 3 months after buying a PS3. I find these sales numbers for PS3 Slim to be unbelievable. 550k in a week can not be possible.
I should of waited 3 months and got a better PS3 with more games. PS3 Slim is still non B/C which is a surprise. A B/C PS3 Slim could of further boosted its sales.

Wow a company that tells us we should get a secound job to afford there system make an affordable system and it SELLS?
