Donkey Kong Barrel Blast: 50% on GameRankings

Crash of the Titans: Bad on GameRankings

Donkey Kong Barrel Blast surprised me... It really did... I thought it would be the true sequal to Diddy Kong Racing (Diddy Kong Racing DS failed, and Donkey Kong Racing was never released)... But, it failed worse than Diddy Kong Racing DS... Oh well...

Crash of the Titans, from day one, I knew was going to be a piece of shit. I mean, they just took a massive crap over the Crash Bandicoot franchise. Reviews are slowly coming in, and it wont be too long, before the games range between 60%-70%, which in my book, does not warrant a purchase, especially since there are too many 80%+ games out there.

How about Sonic the Hedgeohog? Naw... 79% for Sonic Rush Adventure? That is not redemption...

Considering that Donkey Kong has mostly had experimental spinoff games for the past few years, I wasn't aware that the franchise really needed "redemption" beyond getting a new platformer out sometime before 2010 (which I doubt).

Crash has been beyond that point for years. Then again, I never found the series that great to begin with.

Donky Kong Barrel Blast seems like a sacrifice of timing. It really should have been released on the cube with bongos a year ago. There's no reason not to expect a good full fledge Donkey Kong game in the future.

Crash on the other hand... It's a done franchise. No company would take the time to make a really good Crash game now because the series has no credibility anymore.

Sonic... See my Secret Rings thread!

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

yeah i used to like the old donkey kongs and crashes alot, but now they just arent good

Well we haven't actually had a real DK since DK64. I would love a full blown Wii DK platforming adventure.

yeah me to,if i remember correctly rare said that they would make DKC4 if nintendo asked them

They should've let Crash die once Naughty Dog stopped working on them.

I'd like another game that is in the same vein as DK64 (but wii-ized). With Rare owned by MS though I'm not so sure...

Yes, I would even have considered it if it was on the Wii with bongo's as an option.  Why they removed the Bongo support is beyond me. The bongo's were great!

Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.
