wow this thread got a lot of bans

The funny thing is Sony didn't even say anything about Nigeria... Just the e-mail scams.

u said black people are silly, thats personally offensive to me

Jesse Jackson wouldn't even be offended by what I said. Now I could go into the scandals of MLK Jr. if you really want me to, but that's for the OT forum.

The Halo francise is the most overrated bland game to ever hit the console market. It provides a bad name to all FPS that even showed effort at creating an original entertaining plot.

I probably have more ps3 games than you :/

But to replace Nigeria with another country wouldn't make sense... Nigeria IS a financial fuck up of fraudsters and massive money laundering... its a fact. Ask the UN.

You gave an enormous generalized statement about a WHOLE country. Saying that is the equivalent of saying all of England is a bunch of occupiers and cut-throats.

What do you mean ask the UN? Did UN ever pass a resolution saying that Nigerians could be equated with scamsters over the internet?

That stupid line in that stupid ad only expresses a dangerous stereotype.

They knew this complaint was gonna happen you know. It's pretty smart actually.

no its not. Its absolutely rediculous. It's just nigerans looking for some media coverage. I get mail almost every week about being a nigerian millionare. I cannot even post an add on kijiji without getting ads from people from Nigeria. It is a true and 100% reliable fact that if someone claims to be from nigeria when you're selling something that itis a scam.

Are you kidding? Both Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton pull the race card at any oppertunity. They would definatly be offended by it. I wasn't offended at all but I still think it was a stupid comment.

They did no such thing. THis is why the world we live is fucked... people see things that aren't even there.

PC gone completely out of hand again as usual... Damn i wish people on this planet would lighten up and stop being so tight arsed! Yeah, i said it lol

Dammit, Sony!

I thought they would just re-assert that the ad was not racist and continue to air it in its original form.
