Obama should like the Xbox. It's a crazy money pit, just like his policies.

Yeah... sure.  I guess that's why Major League Gaming tournaments are PS3 and Wii centric... oops, they're Xbox centric.

M$ probably paid him to say that. You know how kids are, the more you tell them not to do something, the more they want to do it. Reverse psychology FTW!!!

He doesn't use because the Wii is a big "casual gamer" mom thing in the U.S. and his family openly has. He doesn't use the word "PlayStation" because it isn't as of big of a brand in the United States anymore compared to the Xbox. He uses the word Xbox because it is the most popular "hardcore" console that he sees as the kind of gaming that all you do is shoot and have your nerdy friends play dungeons and dragons and shit while not doing your homework.

In a way it's very flattering, Obama is speaking about gaming in general and the console he can come up with is the xbox. A couple of years ago it would have been ''you kids with your playstations''. This and the sale figures show that in America Microsoft has surpassed Sony in fame ans fortune. But seeing hw they are winning on their own territory it isn't much of an accomplishment, if they can keep more then 50% of the Euro HD gaming market till the end of this generation then that would be a real accomplishment.
